The Plot Plan

The Plot Plan generally contains:
  • Owner's name, Job address, and Assessor's Parcel Number
  • Legal Parcel Configuration, with dimensions, boundaries and acreage.
  • Adjacent streets and any access easements.
  • North Arrow.
  • Locations of Existing (E) Improvements and setbacks from boundaries and each other. (A setback is a fancy word for "distance from")
  • Proposed New (N) Improvements and setbacks.
  • Setbacks between (E) or (N) Septic Systems, Leach Fields, and Wells including distances from structures.
  • Easements and Utility lines (electric, gas, water)
